Dragon's Claw Quartz Crystal Silver Bullet Jewelry Pendant
I attached a pewter dragon's claw to a recycled 22 caliber silver bullet shell casing, and added tiny Herkinmer diamonds between the talons. I then used a water clear Arkansas quartz crystal point in the shell casing. This comes with a 24 inch antiqued silver plated chain.
In many cultures dragons represent the primal forces in nature. They are seen as mystical and celestial beings. In Eastern traditions dragons often symbolize wisdom, strength, and good luck. In Europe, dragons were often considered malevolent, but they were thought to possess some form of magic or supernatural power. The claw represents the dragon's uncanny ability to smell trouble and to root out liars and thieves.
Quartz amplifies and directs energy and builds energy pathways. It can strengthen the energies of anything it is put with, and can be used to channel energy and send it out to other stones. The resonating quality is the reason that quartz was originally used in radios and other transmitters, and manufactured crystals are still used in electronic devices today.
Herkimer diamonds can be used for alignment between a person and their environment, or to create a bond with another person or group. They are thought by some traditions to be the most powerful of the quartz crystals. They are often used in meditation and past life recovery.
Quartz has been identified in Australian Aboriginal mythology and also Native American lore. It has been found in burial chambers in many European locations, including Newgrange and Carrowmore in Ireland. The Irish word for quartz is grian cloch, which means stone of the sun.

An original Beautiful Bullets design. I have been creating bullet jewelry since 2009 and have designed over a hundred different styles and types. I use recycled bullet shell casings, metal filigrees, Swarovski crystals, natural gemstones and vintage glass. All of the bullet casings I use are recycled so please allow for variations and small imperfections.
I started my bullet jewelry line as a peace project, and I continue to donate part of the sale to different charities. I have sent donations to the Peace Corps, the Patriot Guard Riders, the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, the Sandy Hook School Support Fund, and the USO. Thanks to everyone who has purchased one of these designs and made that possible.
