Pale Blue Natural Fluorite Crystal Pendant Necklace
I attached a silver wire spiral bail to a raw light blue fluorite triangle crystal and added a 24 inch silver rolo chain. The triangle was cut from a larger fluorite crystal specimen and has beautiful rainbow prisms on both faces. The triangle or pyramid formation is common in fluorite crystals, but blue Illinois specimens are now more rare.
Fluorite has been the state mineral of Illinois since 1965. At that time, Illinois was the largest producer of fluorite in the United States; however, the last Illinois mine closed in 1995.
Fluorite represents growth and adventure, and is helpful in dealing with high stress situations. It increases concentration, helps with decision making, and is said to absorb and neutralize negative vibrations. The calm and serene energy of blue fluorite can bring inner peace and establish emotional balance.
