Banded Fluorite Octahedron Silver Bullet Pendant
I wrapped a recycled 32 caliber silver shell casing with silver plated copper wire and added a clear, pale lavender and purple banded rainbow fluorite crystal octahedron for the "bullet'. This comes with a 24 inch silver filled chain.
The mirrored pyramid octahedron formation is common in fluorite crystals, but Illinois specimens are now more rare. This crystal is from Cave-In-Rock, Hardin County, Illinois. Fluorite has been the state mineral of Illinois since 1965. At that time, Illinois was the largest producer of fluorite in the United States; however, the last Illinois mine closed in 1995.
Fluorite increases concentration and helps with decision making. It is said to absorb and neutralize negative vibrations. It helps in aligning all the chakras, and it is a powerful healing stone. The focus of the healing may be emotional, physical, spiritual, etc., depending upon the color of the fluorite. Rainbow fluorite can bring balance and harmony to many situations.
An original Beautiful Bullets design. I have been creating bullet jewelry since 2009 and have designed over one hundred different styles and types. I use recycled bullet shell casings, metal filigrees, Swarovski crystals, and natural gemstones.
Part of the proceeds is donated to charity. I have sent donations to the Peace Corps, the Patriot Guard Riders, the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, the Sandy Hook School Support Fund, and the USO. Thanks to everyone who has purchased one of these designs and made that possible.
