I used two different calibers of recycled silver bullet shell casings, a 40 and a 38 caliber, to make a keepsake capsule pendant. I added a silver plated copper crescent moon and a vintage glass blue and green moon to the top casing, and a silver star to the bail. This comes with a 24 inch antiqued silver rope chain. It opens to reveal a small space where you can keep small items. There is a cork inside one end to hold the two shell casings in place.

This can be used to hold tiny treasures such as crystals, beads, dried flowers, etc. It can also be used as a keepsake memorial pendant for ashes, and can be permanently sealed as well.

The moon has different phases and those phases affect us in different ways. The full moon represents illumination, clarity, and openness. The crescent moon symbolizes new beginnings and dreams come true. The continuing cycles of the moon bring rebirth and renewal to us every month.

The Waxing Moon represents new beginnings, which can bring positive change, creative influences, and good fortune.

All of the bullet casings I use are recycled so please allow for variations and small imperfections.
