Blue Fluorite Peace Symbol Silver Bullet Jewelry Pendant

  • $ 2750

A recycled 357 sig silver bullet shell casing holds a polished light blue fluorite gemstone point. I added a silver peace sign to the bail. This comes with a 24 inch silver plated chain. The fluorite shows a slight color change between blue and green, depending on the light source. It has natural inclusions.

The peace symbol has a convoluted and confusing history. It's most notable appearance in modern times was its first use by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) at their Aldermaston march in 1956. The CND meaning of the symbol is semaphore for 'N' (the two diagonal lines) and 'D' (the two vertical lines). About ten years later, the symbol was adopted as a general peace sign within the student anti-war movement. It became probably the single best known symbol of the youth culture of the sixties.

Fluorite helps in aligning all the chakra, and it is a powerful healing stone. It enhances spiritual energy work, focuses the will and balances the psyche. It increases concentration and helps with decision making. Fluorite is said to absorb and neutralize negative vibrations. The calm and serene energy of blue fluorite can bring inner peace and establish emotional balance.

I have been creating bullet jewelry since 2009 and have designed over a hundred different styles and types. I use recycled bullet shell casings, metal filigrees, Swarovski crystals, natural gemstones and vintage glass. All of the bullet casings I use are recycled so please allow for variations and small imperfections.

I started my bullet jewelry line as a peace project, and I continue to donate part of the sale to different charities. I have sent donations to the Peace Corps, the Patriot Guard Riders, the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, the Sandy Hook School Support Fund, and the USO. Thanks to everyone who has purchased one of these designs and made that possible.
