Bumblebee Jasper Wire Wrapped Natural Stone Pendant
I wrapped a natural bumblebee jasper stone with titanium silver plated copper wire. This comes with a 24 inch antiqued silver plated chain.
Bumblebee jasper is a sedimentary rock that is made up of yellow sulfur and manganese oxides. This gives it the patterns that mimic the coloring in bumblebees. It is porous and often contains tiny holes. The stone was formed during volcanic activity in West Java, Indonesia. This area is now closed to mining.
Jasper makes a powerful protection against unsettling ideas or people and it eases stress, making it a wonderful stone to have near you. Jasper is a very good protection stone and is recommended in situations where protection or extra luck is needed.
Stones listed as natural, raw, or rough may have some imperfections and inclusions. Be sure to check all photos, including the zoom feature, for details about a particular stone. Please see photo with ruler for size. Colors may vary with individual monitors.
Many stones are susceptible to fading, and they should be kept out of direct sunlight. Do not use hot water or salt water to clean them. Stone properties and descriptions are for informational purposes only and do not offer any guaranteed outcomes. Also, they are not intended as a substitute for medical care.
I have read many articles on whether bumblebee jasper is actually harmful due to the sulfur content. The general consensus by experts seems to be only when you are actually cutting and polishing the stones should precautions be used. They also should not be crushed or broken up to use in elixirs. Once the stones have been polished however, they no longer pose any risk.
