Crystal Aurora Borealis Star Lightning Bolt Pendant Necklace

  • $ 3000

I combined a premium Austrian crystal star with silver alloy lightning bolt and cloud charms. This comes with a 24 inch silver plated rope chain. The faceted crystal star has an aurora borealis finish and is 16mm in diameter.

In ancient times, lightning was associated with strong emotions such as wonder and awe. Lightning bolts were thought to provide illumination and understanding. Many cultures considered lightning to be a message from the gods. Any location that was struck by a lightning bolt was accepted as a holy place with significant power and often became a place of worship. If a person was struck by lightning and survived, they were honored and respected for the rest of their life and on into the afterlife.

The star is a symbol of balance in the way that each element balances with the other. The upward point of the star represents Spirit. The other four points each represent an element; earth, air, fire, and water. The ancient Greeks believed that all of these reside in everything.

Aurora Borealis is a finish used on crystals that reflects back multiple colors including green, hot pink, blue, violet, and yellow.

These crystals are considered by many people to be the finest quality crystals made. They are ground with such precision that they sparkle as brilliantly as diamonds. Unfortunately I can no longer use the brand name because the company won't allow it. I don't really understand this, but must comply. These are vintage crystals purchased many years ago and are genuine.

Items listed as vintage may have some imperfections. Be sure to check all photos, including the zoom feature, for details about a particular item. Please see photo with ruler for size. Colors may vary with individual monitors.
