Natural Ash Wood Quartz Crystal Gemstone Dip Pen

  • $ 2500

I used an ash wood handle and attached a natural quartz crystal point. I added assorted tiny gemstone chips around the base of the crystal. The writing point is a vintage Esterbrook steel pen nib, and there is also a quartz crystal point attached next to the nib. I wrapped the handle with gunmetal square wire. This comes with a small bottle of dragon's blood red ink. Great for calligraphy and ritual writing. Can be used as a pen or as a wand.

Ash wood is prized for its strength and flexibility. It is often used for a wide variety of things including tool handles, brooms, wands, baseball bats, bows and arrows. Ash wood is very dense which makes it burn well. It is the traditional wood used for the yule log.

In ancient folklore, the Vikings called the ash tree Yggdrasil, the tree of life. It was a magical tree whose trunk grew up to heaven, the boughs spread out to cover the entire earth, and the roots reached down into the underworld. The Celts considered the tree protective and ash was often planted near sacred wells to keep the water sweet and pure.

Ash wood can promote strength, health and harmony. It is said to hold the key to cosmic wisdom and truth. It may attract love and prosperity. Ash wood shavings kept under your pillow can bring prophetic dreams. In many cultures, an ash tree is planted at the birth of a baby.

Dragons blood is often used for money or love drawing. It can be used as incense to cleanse a space of negative energies or influences. It is also added to red ink to make Dragon's Blood Ink, which is used to inscribe magical seals and ritual papers, as well as to increase the potency of spells.
