Neon Green Kryptonite Crystals Silver Bullet Pendant

  • $ 3250

A small glass cylinder vial filled with lab grown neon green Boussingaultite crystals and capped with a 380 caliber recycled silver bullet shell casing. I wrapped it with an iridescent dark filigree and added a 24 inch gunmetal chain. The vivid green color reminds me of kryptonite. These crystals will only affect the Man of Steel... everyone else should be fine.

Crystals are grown in the lab by a process called nucleation. During this process, the molecules that crystallize are dissolved in a solvent. The dissolved particles will then start to combine with one another until they grow large enough to form crystals.

From the ISG:
"Creating gemstones in a lab is an art that must be learned and perfected using imagination and skill. Lab created gemstones are not imitations, they are newly created gemstones that are of the same make up as the mined gemstones. So by definition, gemstones created in a lab cannot be called synthetic because rather than imitate a gemstone...they ARE gemstones."

An original Beautiful Bullets design. I have been creating bullet jewelry since 2009 and have designed over a hundred different styles and types. I use recycled bullet shell casings, metal filigrees, Swarovski crystals, natural gemstones and vintage glass. All of the bullet casings I use are recycled so please allow for variations and small imperfections.

I started my bullet jewelry line as a peace project, and I continue to donate part of the sale to different charities. I have sent donations to the Peace Corps, the Patriot Guard Riders, the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, the Sandy Hook School Support Fund, and the USO. Thanks to everyone who has purchased one of these designs and made that possible.
