Red Coral Dragon's Teeth Silver Bullet Jewelry Pendant Necklace
I used a clear glass vial and added simulated dragon's blood and red coral teeth to it. I then attached a chrome spike to the base and capped it with recycled 32 caliber silver bullet shell casing. I finished the design with silver wire wrapping. This comes with a 24 inch oxidized silver plated chain.
In ancient Greek myth, dragon's teeth were sown in the earth to produce a group of warriors to aid the hero in battle. Thus the phrase "sow dragon's teeth" has come to be used as a metaphor for instigating a fight or dispute.
Coral is not a true stone, but the skeletal remains of sea creatures. It has been used in decorative arts for thousands of year. The ancient Egyptians included coral in their tombs to protect against evil spirits. According to Greek mythology, when Perseus chopped off the head of Medusa, the blood drops splashed into the sea and solidified into coral.
Red coral symbolizes life blood and life force energy. It is a stone of passion and can attract a new love or revive an old flame. It can help with meditation and visualization exercises. It brings courage and may protect the wearer against accidents and evil influences. Red coral is the gemstone of Mars and is often used as a protection amulet.
An original Beautiful Bullets design. I have been creating bullet jewelry since 2009 and have designed over a hundred different styles and types. I use recycled bullet shell casings, metal filigrees, Swarovski crystals, natural gemstones and vintage glass. All of the bullet casings I use are recycled so please allow for variations and small imperfections.
I started my bullet jewelry line as a peace project, and I continue to donate part of the sale to different charities. I have sent donations to the Peace Corps, the Patriot Guard Riders, the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, the Sandy Hook School Support Fund, and the USO. Thanks to everyone who has purchased one of these designs and made that possible.
