A recycled 32 caliber silver bullet shell casing holds a black onyx cornicello little horn point. I wrapped it with silver wire and added a 23 inch dark silver chain.

The little horn or cornicello is an Italian amulet worn to protect against the evil eye. It is a symbol that originally resembled the twisted horn of an African eland and was said to bring good fortune. In ancient times it was most likely sacred to the moon goddess.

Jasper is known to have been a favorite gem in the ancient world; its name can be traced back in Hebrew, Assyrian, Persian, Greek and Latin. The name means "spotted or speckled stone".

Jasper awakens the mind and heart to new ideas and allows one to be flexible with others. All the jaspers have some properties of enhancing emotional balance, nurturing, and protection. It is a stone of gentleness and relaxation. It helps promote openness to new ideas. All of the bullet casings I use are recycled so please allow for variations and small imperfections.
